Chelsea could struggle to sign Paul Pogba after it emerged Zinedine Zidane wants to make the France international his first Galactico signing at Real Madrid.
Pogba, 22, is wanted by a host of European giants, with Barcelona and Chelsea keen on summer swoops.
Premier League duo Manchester United and Manchester City have also been linked with the ace in recent months, although Chelsea reportedly lead the English contingent chasing him.
The Blues reportedly see him as the long-term solution to their midfield woes.
But in a shock move Real boss Zidane has asked his former employers Juve to consider an exclusive deal with the Bernabeu club.
According to Spanish newspaper reports, Zidane is willing to spend £73million to bring Pogba to Madrid.
Former France international Zidane took charge of the club earlier this month after Rafael Benitez was sacked.
He is tasked with maintaining Real’s challenge for the Spanish league title while navigating them past Roma in the Champions League.
As for Pogba, the former United player remains Barcelona’s No1 target after discussions were held last summer regarding a transfer.
