RIO 2016| 25 Players Report to Camp

by on April 26, 2016

The Dream Team VI resumed full training yesterday in Abuja with 25 players who beat the Monday deadline given by chief coach, Samson Siasia.
The head coach had warned players to either report to camp yesterday or forget being part of the Olympics team, insisting that he can only pick his players from the number that trained with him.
The team whose training yesterday was more of a physical exercise was drilled under the watchful eyes of Coach Fatai Amao, as Siasia was not seen anywhere around the training pitch of the National Stadium.
Some of the players who trained yesterday were Sincere Seth, Goddy Ahamefula, Segun Oduduwa and Emmanuel Daniel.
Meanwhile notable amongst the players that are yet to join the team are Stanley Dimgba, and Portugal bound Oghenekaro Etebo who scored the Super Eagles lone goal in the back to back Nations Cup qualifier against the Pharoahs” of Egypt, which Nigeria has crashed out.
The team is looking forward to an invitational tournament in South Korea ahead of the Olympics, after Nigeria failed to meet up with requirements for the earlier planned Toulon tourney in France.
