It appears there is no end in sight to the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as leaders of the party yesterday engaged in verbal war.
While the National Chairman of the party, Ali Modu Sheriff threatened to drag Prof. Jerry Gana before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over an alleged illegal withdrawal of N500 million belonging to the party, Concerned PDP Stakeholders led by Sen Ibrahim Mantu, Prof Tunde Adeniran and Prof Jerry Gana said Sheriff must vacant office in May.
The group also said that they have setup a 21-member steering committee to manage the affairs of the party.
Recall that PDP Northern Elders Forum had on Wednesday asked Sheriff to leave.
Addressing newsmen yesterday in Abuja, Sheriff, represented by his Media Aide, Inuwa Bwala, said the Concerned leaders and other groups are free to leave the party as they no longer have relevance in the party.
