The CEO of the Nigerian National Bureau of Statistics, Dr. Yemi Kale announced that the body will publish a National Longitudinal Phone Survey on Covid-19 tomorrow.

The report will show data and information on the socioeconomic effect of Covid-19 on Nigerian Households monthly.

Nigerians spend close to 60% of their income on food monthly, with state borders closed due to Lockdowns, food prices rose in markets.

The NLPS survey is the first wave of high frequency phone Survey of households in Nigeria.

1,950 Households were fully interviewed and the collected data are representative at the national level.
