The Archbishop of Enugu ecclesiastical province and Bishop of Enugu diocese, Anglican Communion, Arch Bishop Emmanuel Chukwuma, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari, to take urgent measures in curtailing the high insecurity rate to lives and properties of people living in Southern Kaduna, in Kaduna state of the federation, saying that the killings are worse than the mayhem the ‘Boko Haram’ sect meted in Kaduna and other towns in the North East part of the country.
Archbishop Chukwuma gave this caution while commenting on the state of the nation and 2017 new year expectation for Nigerians in a chat with a select group of journalists in his office, at Bishop’s court, over the weekend.
The Anglican Cleric stressed that the encomiums being poured on President Buhari for the Nigeria army’s thorough eradication of the Boko Haram sect from Sambisa forest and other parts of the North East cannot be termed as a success, when a section of Nigerians for no just cause are being massacred in Southern Kaduna.
