Stop Linking PDP to Boko Haram -Senator Warns Security Agencies

Former Senate Depu­ty Leader, Senator Ab­dul Ahmed Ningi has called on security Agencies to stop linking Peoples Demo­cratic Party (PDP) Members and any other opposition with Boko Haram.
Senator Abdul, Made this called during donations of two cars (ford Gallazy) to PDP Bauchi state chapter at the Party Secretariat Monday, in Bauchi, saying that the issue of damaging the image of any party is a very serious and dan­gerous one where the party in government sees anybody who doesn’t agree with them as the Boko Haram mem­ber that are out to destroy the state, “What this means is that, if you do not agree with me, or if you are not in the APC you don’t love the state.”
“Our party members were locked up and linked with Boko Ha­ram, this is worrisome, it was discovered that after investi­gation by the police those that perpetrated the attacked on convoy are the members in the same party with the ruling governor and the then Com­missioner police also testified that,” he said.
“The attacked was carried out by army of youth from the same party with gover­nor whom were sponsored by some leaders of the ruling just to attacked governors Convoy in Ningi that was exactly what happened, but they end up ar­resting PDP members because they are in the opposition,” he said.
The former deputy Senate leader urge the security agen­cies to be careful while dealing with politicians, they should avoid taking side or linking our members with Boko Ha­ram is not acceptable.
Ningi said “that does not mean if we disagree in politics doesn’t mean we don’t love our state and until we get that out of our heads, not much will move forward,” he said.
He reiterated his commit­ment to PDP and vow to re­main in PDP, “I am not go­ing to betrayed the party that made me who am, I serve both in the house of Repre­sentatives and Senate for 16 years under the PDP plat­form, why the should be­trayed the Party, I will nev­er betrayed the platform that make Me all that I be came to­day,” he said.
Speaking Earlier the Chair­man of the state PDP Alhaji Hamza Akoshe Akuyam, ex­press gratitude to the deputy Senate for being there always for the Party in the state.
Akuyam charge Par­ty stakeholders in the state to emulate Senator Abdul Ningi’s gesture, saying with that donations of two cars the party will go a long way in reorganization of the party structures in the state.
He promised to use the two cars judiciously for the prog­ress of the party in the state.
