Super Eagles striker, Aaron Samuel has scored himself high after he made his Amkar Perm league debut at champions Zenit St.Petersburg.

The big striker, who is on loan from CSKA Moscow, started Saturday’s Russian premier league game, which ended in a draw.

“I feel so great to have being in the starting lineup for my new club. Getting 77 minutes under my belt was good for my confidence. It was a good match for me and now hopefully I will take it from there.

“Playing against Zenit is always difficult, and the match was no exemption and earning a draw away was not a bad result considering the pedigree of the team.”

Aaron Samuel said he hopes regular first-team football will earn him a recall to the Super Eagles.
