“I write on behalf of my family, the government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to rejoice with you as you mark your milestone 60th birthday anniversary. Yours is, indeed, a life truly worthy of celebration as you have attained lofty heights not just as an accomplished selfless servant of God but also in the committed service of community, country and our common humanity.”

“You have not only committed to giving your all in pursuit of the massively impactful propagation of the Word, you have also embraced the cause of providing quality education for our children. As Almighty God continues to bless you with robust health and many more years of happiness, uncommon accomplishment, and fulfilling service, it is my prayer that you will continue to partner with us in our quest to reposition Nigeria for peace, progress and prosperity.”

“I have a special affinity and admiration for men who passionately pursue the selfless path of service and the highest respects for men who pursue that path in the areas of social engineering and religious organization.  I have no reluctance, therefore, to declare that, you, Bishop David Oyedepo has earned my full respects and my deep admiration.

“The Bishop has filled his 60 years with extraordinary feats of achievements.  You have established enduring institutions in a nation where important institutions have decayed and touched lives in a society, where the masses are in dire need of salvation from ills, succour from poverty and sagely guidance from pervasive errors.

“In establishing the Covenant University, Bishop Oyedepo’s position as a visionary social engineer was sealed. The Bishop is succeeding where most governments have failed; he deserves our applause.”

“Bishop David Oyedepo, is a living proof of the teachings in the Bible, the persecution, opposition, hatred, among other things, suffered by the Bishop, his ministry and his triumph over the challenges, emperors, kings and dictators testify to the fact that he had been called by God.”

“Bishop Oyedepo’s contribution to the development of Nigeria and the body of Christ is a commitment to godliness and humanity worthy of emulation. Particularly, I commend his giant strides in the development of education in Nigeria and beyond.
