We have Changed from Peaceful Elections to Violent Elections – PDP

A pressure group in the People’s Demo­cratic Party (PDP), PDP National Rebirth Movement has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of introducing negative change to Nigeria.
The group in a strong worded statement signed by the National President, Fortune Oyadongha said President Muhammadu Buhari should be held re­sponsible for the violence that has followed the re-run polls in Rivers State.
“The change APC prom­ised us we can now see is from peaceful conduct of elections as left behind by President Goodluck Jona­than to violent elections as witnessed in Bayelsa and Rivers under Buhari.”
“This is not what Nigeri­ans expected. Since he was overthrown in 1984, words spoken by Buhari has al­ways be inciting. Now, it is evident the blood of the Rivers people is worth the push by APC to capture the State by all means.”
The group called on the International community to come to the rescue of Nigerians, saying the dic­tatorship of 1984 is being re-enacted.
The statement con­demned the conduct of some of the security agen­cies deployed to Rivers State for the elections, de­scribing their role as invita Gender Equality Bill.
