Pakistan Supreme Court Delivers Verdict on NA Deputy Speaker Ruling

CJP says the Deputy Speaker of National Assembly ruling is erroneous.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has delivered the verdict in the case of National Assembly Deputy speaker ruling. A five-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial heard the suo moto notice case against Speaker Ruling.

The Supreme Court has declared the ruling of the Deputy Speaker unconstitutional. Declaring the order to dissolve the Assembly illegal, the National Assembly has been restored. The Speaker has been directed to convene a meeting of the National Assembly on April 9.

Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial remarks that we cannot make political decisions. But we can decide carefully. All are equal in the eyes of the court. There is a lot of bitterness in politics. If we start telling the truth, then where will the nation go? Our nation longs for leadership.

Imran Khan Reacts on SC Verdict Today on Deputy Speaker Ruling

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that whatever decision the Supreme Court will give in the suo-moto case of Deputy Speaker Ruling will be accepted.

According to sources, a meeting of the government’s legal team was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The meeting was briefed on the ongoing Deputy Speaker Ruling suo moto case in the Supreme Court.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that he would accept any decision of the Supreme Court. PTI is ready for new elections. Foreign conspiracies will never be allowed to succeed.

Nawaz Sharif Reacts on SC Judgement on Constitutional Crisis

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader and former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that it is not enough to simply annul the ruling of the deputy speaker. The Constitution and the national interest demand that the constitutional powers of Parliament be restored immediately.

On micro blogging social media webiste twitter, Nawaz Sharif said that the rolling of the Deputy Speaker was against the constitution and law.

He said that the constitution and the national interest demanded immediate restoration of the constitutional powers of the parliament so that the parliament could carry out its responsibilities and decisions in accordance with the constitution and law.

CJP Summons the Election Commission Officials

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Ata Bandial has summoned the Election Commission officials immediately.

The Secretary Election Commission has reached the Supreme Court on the summons of the Chief Justice. When asked by reporters, the Secretary Election Commission said that he had reached the Supreme Court at the order of the Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial. He has also brought his complete record and legal team with him.

Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial while praised Bilawal Bhutto Zardari during the hearing of the suo moto notice. CJP remarked that Bilawal talked to the point. He was the only one who had a smile on his face.
